Youth of Phandar valley concerned over violation of lockdown by the administration

Youth group and representatives of tehsil Phandar warned to sit-in if their demands are not fulfilled in 3 days.

According to sources, youth groups and representatives of tehsil Phandar in district Ghizer of Gilgit-Baltistan in a meeting showed serious concern about influx of Potato dealers and labours from KPK and Punjab amid of a complete lockdown in the region. The representatives are of the opinion that district administration is involved and facilitating these individuals and so far have allowed 42 Potato dealers and labors to enter the district.

The representative demanded that these non-locals should not be allowed until COVID-19 is controlled in the country. They also showed concern over involvement of these none local in illegal activities including illegal fish hunting.
