A registered nurse exposes the state of seriousness to protect lives of the people from COVID-19 in DHQ hospital Upper Dir

Mr. Tanweer Ahmed Khan, a registered nurse in DHQ hospital Upper Dir through a video message exposes the state of seriousness to protect lives of the people from COVID-19. As a healthcare professional when he suggested separating positive and negative COVID-19 tested persons, the assistance commissioner Upper Dir didn’t like his interference and started misbehaving with him. As he is not able to serve and is on hunger strike demanding strict action against the AC and other officials who misbehaved.

“I requested the DHQ administration to provide a separate transportation like one for the positive cases and one for the negative cases BUT they combined everyone. They are putting everyone in one place. As frontline soldier (health worker) instead of cooperating and facilitating me, the Upper Dir administration (Assistance Commissioner) continually mishandled and misbehaved with me. The current spike of COVID-19 in Chitral is because of such negligence and action must taken against those irresponsible authorities and individuals
Chitrali people are so humble. I am on hunger trike until strict action is taken against the AC Upper Dir, if something happened to my life then Assistance Commissioner Upper Dir will be responsible.”
