Lockdown extended in Subdivision Gojal district Hunza

Office of the Assistant Commissioner subdivision Gojal has extended lockdown till May 10 throughout Gojal.

Entry and exit from and to Gojal except extreme emergency is band. Shops, petrol stations and tandoors will remain open from 9am to 2 pm throughout the week. Free home delivery services of fruits, grocery, and books shall remain intact. Every resident who enters Gojal from cities/countries will undergo screening at Ataabad Tunnel and will be placed under mandatory home quarantine or isolation for two weeks.

Gulmit hospital screening team will keep watch on the entrants beside periodic health check ups, conduct door to door screening and shall shift any suspected to the designated hospital including Karimabad hospital. In case of need hotels, motels, guesthouses and rest houses will be converted into Quarantine facilities or temporary accommodations. No person is allowed to roam freely, squat in the public places,street, outside house etc without any justifiable reason.

Moreover all drivers, passengers and pedestrians shall wear mask.
